MAC Viva Glam Gaga Dupe!

I am super thrilled to show you all a dupe I found! I was looking at my collection (which I might do a video on soon!) trying to see what I can review or talk about since I knew for sure I wanted to do a post today. I took out a Rimmel London lipstick in Pink Champagne/ Pink Blush (They've changed the name, but I promise it's the same color!) and realized it looked similar to the lipstick I had on which was Viva Glam Gaga. I know a lot of you didn't get the chance to get it, and I've seen prices on eBay to be over $100 which is CRAZY for a lipstick!

I bought Viva Glam Gaga when it first came out in February of 2010, it was my first purchase from MAC and I was ecstatic! It's a gorgeous bright blue pink shade. I honestly haven't seen great dupes out there. This one is probably the best dupe I've come across (if you know any dupes for this lipstick, please let me know!)

I bought the Rimmel London lipstick almost a month ago during the CVS 50-75% off sale for $1.78 cents! I'm not quite sure if the sale is still going on but you can always check G.'s blog for more updates on that! She also shares all the great deals and sale out there, so make sure to follow her if you haven't already! $1.78 is an awesome deal for any lipstick really!

As you can see the colors are VERY VERY similar! The Rimmel lipstick is on the top and the Gaga is on the bottom. I was really shocked to see how similar these colors are. They're not exact dupes; I say the Viva Glam Gaga is a little bit more blue toned and a little less bright than the Rimmel lipstick. Overall both colors are gorgeous and I'd definitely recommend the Rimmel London lipstick if you're looking for Viva  Glam Gaga and is having bad luck! Do you think they look similar? Did you get a chance to pick up Viva Glam Gaga? Let me know! xx

Review: Hard Candy Blush Crush Baked Blush in Honeymoon

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to be reviewing a Hard Candy Blush in Honeymoon. Hard Candy is, as I know, only available at Walmart. If I am incorrect let me know! I bought it at Walmart for $9 which is actually a really good deal, considering most "baked" makeup items are expensive and I'm pretty sure every powdered makeup product they have is baked. They are actually similar to MAC MSF's, Honeymoon is actually similar to MAC's Perfect Topping MSF. Perfect topping has more of a silver undertone, while Honeymoon has more of a goldish undertone.

As you can see it's a peachy pink color with some slight goldish undertones to it, along with some lavender veining running through it. It looks really gorgeous in the pan as well as it does on the cheeks. You could also get away with using this as a highlight.

One of the best parts of Hard Candy is that they don't test on animals! If you were worried about Hard Candy testing on animals, worry no longer! (:

There's a swatch of the color above. I hope you can see the slight gold undertone in it, I think it's an absolutely gorgeous color. I don't give it as much credit as it deserves. I highly recommend this blush!

Review: L'oreal Carbon Black Voluminous Waterproof Mascara & L'oreal Carbon Black Waterproof Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner

Woo, talk about a mouthful. Today I will be reviewing two L'oreal eye cosmetic products; a mascara and an eyeliner. First I should tell you that I love them both and use them both everyday. I'm basically telling you everything I'm going to say. I love them! There are cons, as there is cons with any product. If you want to read a more in depth review keep reading!

Above there is a picture of the wand of the mascara, as you can see it looks like a standard wand. Oh, but it is not a standard mascara. It is amazing! Best mascara I have ever tried, I've tried at least twelve different mascaras and this is by far my favorite! I really didn't expect much out of it when I bought it, I just needed a new mascara so I just got this one since I heared it was a dupe for a YSL mascara. I don't know if it's a dupe for a $30 mascara, but what I do know is that it's great. It gives volume (hence the name "voluminous") and it gives a little bit of length. The color is Carbon Black, so it is a very dark black. Which is obviously good in a mascara! This mascara is also waterproof which leads me to the con on this product. I can never get the mascara off my lashes! I try and try, but I end up waking up with the mascara flaking off my lashes and it looks so gross! Next time, I will look for the regular formula! Hopefully it's easier to take off!

I haven't really heared much rave on this liquid eyeliner on youtube or blogger! I really don't know why, it's such a great liquid eyeliner! Best liquid eyeliner I've ever tried. Makes putting eyeliner easier. It's great for the lashline! It is very black as you will see in the swatches. The name is "L'oreal Carbon Black Waterproof Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner" so by the name, you should expect it to be very black. Which thank goodness, it was. It takes about five (5) minutes to be completely dry on the eye or anywhere really. So before you expect it to be waterproof wait about 5-10 minutes. You can open your eyes without having that pesky eyeliner line on your eye, it's not that wet!

These are the swatches, on the left side there are three swatches of the L'oreal Eyeliner, a thin line, a thick line, and a medium line. As yo can see they are very black. This picture truthfully doesn't do it much justice. On the right side there is a swatch of the L'oreal Carbon Black Voluminous mascara. It is very black for a mascara; it is really hard to find a really black mascara. This for sure is one of he really black mascaras you'll find!

So that is all for my review, you can request reviews if you want guys! (:

Random Mini Haul!

I was browsing around luuux the other day when I saw this post that said 50% off Wet N' Wild cosmetics, so of course I instantly clicked on the post and read the details! The deal ended today (sadly) so I had to go to make my mom drive me to Walgreen's! Don't worry; she bought a couple of things herself haha. I didn't go crazy, I only bought three Wet N' Wild things.

Also, I got a metal tin from the salvation army thrift store to put rings in. I'm not sure how that will work out but it was only $0.99, I couldn't resist.

(Wet N' Wild Walking On Eggshells Trio with swatches)
I got this trio for $1.50, yes $1.50. That is incredible. These eyeshadows are extremely pigmented, smooth, and easy to blend. This is a great trio for an everyday neutral look. Such a great steal!
(Wet N' Wild Lust Palette with swatches)
I paid $2.50 for this. WHAT? yes. The second color on the second row is really the reason I bought it. The color is so different. It's a flat black with purple shimmer. Most people describe it as what MAC's beauty marked was supposed to be. The matte colors are kind of chalky, but nothing terrible whatsoever.

(Revlon Nail Polish in Peach Petal)
The color is beautiful. I love it, the consistancy of it is not great; I'm still not sure on my feelings towards it. It dries super super slow, I let it dry for at least 10 minutes and it still wouldn't dry. So, I went ahead and put another coat and took this pictures and took it off right after. Hopefully next time I try it, it works great. Hopefully.

(Wet N' Wild Nutty single eyeshadow with swatch)
A lot of people said a good dupe for satin taupe is this eyeshadow. I don't agree. Its similar, but definitely not a "dupe". It is a really pretty color though! I will be for sure using this!

(*Sorry I didn't swatch the revlon lipgloss! There's tons of swatches out there, just google it if you were curious!)
