Monday Night Dinner

I've never done a food post on my blog, other than the picture of funnel cake from my trip to Fair Park. Today was a busy day, I woke up at ten in the morning (which for me if I'm not going to school is way too early), I ate breakfast at my cousins place while watching The Devil Wears Prada, which is an excellent film. Then we went to the mall right after the movie, we stopped by Sears, Macy's, Sephora, JcPenneys, MAC, Forever 21.. SO many stores! Then we had to take care of my cousins cousin, he was so cute by the way. He was a couple of months old! One of the cutest baby's ever! Then I went to get my hair done and then I finally ate. My father invited me out to dinner at La Madeline. It's a very nice restaurant. Not expensive either. We ordered the same things and the total was around $32! The meal in the center was disgusting. I hate broccoli. Broccoli pretty much ruined the whole meal. I stuffed myself with the Potato soup (which is AMAZING, you must try it) and a bunch of bread with jam. The hot chocolate was amazing as well. Next time, I'll remember to not order that. I honestly forgot the name. My Monday was pretty exciting, my life is very boring so today was a change for me. Texas State Fair!

I live in Dallas, TX. Home to the biggest state fair in America, I obviously had to go.

Fried, fried, fried. Everything there is fried from fried ice cream to fried beer. I didn't get the chance to try everything I wanted to but that's fine. At 7:00 pm there is this parade type deal and there's people on horses, people walking on sticks, floats. It was great, but the absolute best "event" was the illumination sensation. It was AMAZING. There was music, lights, fireworks, fire, water, some kind of graphics in mid air. Best part was it was free. You just sit on the grass or stairs and watch. I managed to take a bunch of pictures via my crappy samsung rouge cell phone. Here they are:
